Regen School

7-week digital course:
Introduction to regenerative business

A regenerative company is designed and organises itself as a living system, operating within planetary boundaries. Regenerative companies serve the capacity of living systems – both human and non-human – to regenerate the conditions conducive to life on Earth.
Whatever its size, place or sector, your company can embark on the path of regeneration and change its economic model, culture and organisation.

This course is designed for companies who are ready to go beyond reducing negative impact. It will provide you with concrete tools to start implementing transformational processes within your organisation right away.

60+ microlearning videos, applied learning exercises, weekly live session, 40+ practitioner interviews

Week 01

Drawing on the principles of life

We will connect you to the tremendous creative capacity of living systems, and help you adopt principles that govern living entities, by applying them in your daily life.

Week 02

Deconstructing company’s quantitative logic

With simplicity, humour and empathy, we will understand and deconstruct the quantitative logic at work in most of our companies today. This logic is largely responsible for the ecological crises of our time.

Week 03

Building a regenerative company (1/2)

We will learn to replace this quantitative logic with regenerative movement and acquire practical tools. You will discover how a company is a living system, intimately linked to living ecosystems, with which it will enter into balance.

Week 04

Building a regenerative company (2/2)
You will learn what truly regenerative action on these living ecosystems might be, creative action, beyond balance. Action that triggers material metamorphoses within companies.

Week 05

Your company’s metamorphosis (1/2)

We apply this regenerative movement to catalyse the metamorphosis of our economic models and our places.

Week 06

Your company’s metamorphosis (2/2)

We apply this regenerative movement to catalyse the metamorphosis of our organisational models and cultures.

Week 07
Your metamorphosis as a pioneer

We apply this regenerative movement to your own metamorphosis, as a pioneer, an agent of transformation in your company.

Kiran is an Indian designer, educationist, education reformer, and social entrepreneur. With a degree in visual communication from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, she began her career designing restaurants, and later,  writing for newspapers.

It was when her children started going to school that Kiran recognised her true calling. Dismayed by the unfriendly and rigid atmosphere in schools, she set up The Riverside School in Ahmedabad in 2001, which is now viewed as a Laboratory to prototype “design processes” that enables children to better understand their skills, potential, and responsibilities as citizens.

In 2009, Kiran launched “Design for Change” which uses a simple 4 step design framework – FIDS (Feel, Imagine, Do, Share) to cultivate the I CAN mind-set in all children.

Riverside and Design for Change have won several accolades and Awards (The Earth Prize, the Rockefeller Innovation Award…).
